A second-hand copy of Propaganda Magazine, issue 25.
72 pages, color, approximately 216 x 278 mm, glossy paper, stapled back.
This is a copy of Fred H. Berger’s legendary “counterculture chronicle”, which covered all aspects of the goth culture in a personal and unique way; queer in the true sense of the word. Propaganda was published in New York City between 1982 and 2002, back when magazines were exciting for real. Back issues of Propaganda are very hard to get.
Issue 25 of Propaganda was subtitled “Decadent Delight”. The cover feature “Anarchy in Moscow” was a photo essay by the editor, in which a Russian hustler in Moscow talks about his life. The editor has discussed this essay, its truthfulness and the way it came about, in an interview in Destroyer.
We have two copies of this issue in stock, both in good condition. They have been read and owned by one person only. The magazine (or magazines, if you buy both of them) will ship from Germany. German magazine VAT of 7 % will be added for customers within the EU.
